The Mug above was gifted to Lynda Hinton of Lynda Hinton Photography

Here at  Personalised Teddy Bears and Gifts - we now have on offer a wide selection of Sublimated Gifts Items to extend your gift giving pleasure.

We have been slowly introducing a few of these things on our Facebook page and website, and soon more will be added.

As you can guess the process of adding things to websites correctly is not a quick and fast one so please bare with us.

We have a vast selection for you to choose from here at Personalised Teddy Bears and Gifts.

Not only do we have the plain white mug but plenty of different  mugs and colors, which range from child mugs, kiddies mugs with lids and straws right through to travel mugs, glass tea travelling mugs (fabulous for hot or cold tea) and even large mugs. Just love the Pink shimmering one and the Gold Shimmering one.

To accessorize with the mugs we also have a ceramic coaster,  when matched with the mugs design , you have a set all ready to gift. Samples of our range are below.. Just beautiful!

Don't we always want to look our best?

Then having a 100% polyester T Shirt sublimated with your favorite design would be just the thing. Design up one of our 100% Polyester T shirts and your on your way to looking spectacular.

While your dressing up yourself why not decorate your house with a few family photos on the most stunning Slate Photo Panels. The first question you need to ask is what shape?

Well, now let me tell you what shapes we have Oval, Square, Rectangle ( various sizes), and even a  Contoured Shape. Rectangle 120 x 170 mm and a 180 x 260 mm with wooden frame. Something different and eye catching. We are also stocking Sublimated Plates as well.

What a way to remember your most treasured moments or the most special people in your life by always having them in print.

There is one person we definitely don't want to miss out and to me he would be the most important of all.

For the most special man in your life why not get him something for his man cave or bar like a Bar Mat 240 x 890 mm or if he happens to be a B-B-Q man then why not let us design him a B-B-Q Apron or what about a fantastic Beer Stein with a design with meaning from his family.

The kids haven't been left out either, we are able to sublimate pencil cases, backpacks ( and it doesn't have to have their name on it) with their favorite theme. Both sublimated pictures  will match. Even Pencil Holders, for those coloring pencils that seem to accumulate from nowhere. Or they might like their own mug, which is what we call a Poly-sub (unbreakable plastic) Mug maybe with their name on it.

As you can tell we are pretty much liking this Sublimation Process due to all the fantastic things that can be printed with it. There is so much more that I could put in this blog but I would be typing away for days. But eventually items will be advertised for you to see and buy so stay tuned.

Now that I have told you basically what we are planning to do with the Sublimation Business Section of Personalised Teddy Bears and Gifts I had better tell you what Sublimation actually is.

What is dye sublimation printing?

Sublimation printing is a technique that uses heat sensitive inks. These inks turn into gas under the influence of heat and combine with a 100% polyester medium. Since the ink becomes part of the structure of the material, the images on the material don’t fade or crack - even after multiple washing.

Images such as photos, drawings, logos and text can be printed in very high definition using special sublimation inks onto very special transfer paper. The image is then fixed to a substrate like a tee-shirt, mug, plate, slate. Wood etc. The substrate is then placed into a heat source like a heat press or vacuum oven. When heat is applied to the sublimation inks, they turn from a solid directly into a gas (no liquid phase). There is then a chemical reaction that sets the ink into the substrate surface. It is not painted or coated on. Therefore the only way to remove the image is to remove the surface layer (i.e. destroy it). The image has now become part of the substrate item and will last as long as the item does.

I know you have seen plenty of cheap mass-produced mugs around town, but do they come with the service that only Personalised Teddy Bears and Gifts can give you. We are always ready to help you out with your order and design issues so don't be afraid to ask. If you have an idea for a design or a saying you would like to see on a mug or plate etc. just get in touch. We offer a full design service and will provide proofs of the design until you are happy to proceed.

Yes we are still doing embroidery as that is what we feel is best on our Personalised Teddy Bears.

Personalised Teddy Bears are Friends Forever
